We also require a clear, recent profile photo that helps users recognize you when meeting in person. Identity verification is a crucial step in maintaining user confidence and preventing impersonation or misuse of the platform.
Every WalkBud companion is required to undergo a professional background check. This includes screening for criminal records, history of violence, and any other disqualifying offenses.
Our mission is to create a platform where safety is non-negotiable — which means only those who meet our high trust and integrity standards will be approved.
We may also review public behavior or conduct on similar platforms, ensuring only responsible individuals are allowed to accompany users on their walks.
